Project Management
When a leading Cyber Security company needed Project Management services to implement a new cloud-based Cyber security offering, Ceres Consulting were able to help in providing support to implement a new Service Management solution to support the Cyber Service Desk. This cloud-based solution included a dedicated secure customer portal so that customers could log and track progress on incidents, service requests, problems and changes as well as work with the Cyber team to manage incidents proactively and in real-time.
Programme/Project Management
When a Government department needed support to Programme Manage the delivery of the replacement to the National DNA Database, Ceres Consulting were able to provide the capability to help deliver the multi-million replacement. This critical national system was developed using modern agile methods, delivering a flexible microservices architecture on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud to UK GDS standards. Whilst being a replacement to the existing national system, the new solution brings in sophisticated automation allowing DNA profiles to be searched 24/7 assisting the Police in identifying suspects faster and with greater accuracy.
Service Management - SIAM
For a central Government department, we implemented a new SIAM model covering helpdesk and assurance functions, as well as the development of new working processes and working arrangements between the SIAM towers. The implementation of SIAM is often time critical because the incumbent supplier has already been given notice that their contract is ending. Thus, we successfully delivered the £50 million contract within the 9 months from contract signature to completion.
Bid Support
When a major UK Police force was looking for a new command and control system to manage major events, we provided delivery management support to the bid process, providing the responses on delivery, organisation and the plan for the project. The bid cycle was over a year and covered the PQQ, ITN, Negotiation and BAFO stages resulting in preferred bidder being awarded.
